We also have a great range of UK made 100% Cashmere Throws offering outstanding value-for-money. What's the difference between cashmere and pashmina?The answer is - not a lot! Cashmere is the western name for wool from the capra hircus laniger goat, found in Nepal. Locally, the wool is known as pashm - hence pashmina. But you will see lots of scarves and wraps advertised as pashminas when they're not! Beware. We have classified our range as Cashmere Pashmina if the products are made in the Kashmir region and Cashmere if made elsewhere. We think that's fair and we hope you agree. Cashmere Pashmina Scarfs and Cashmere Pashmina WrapsWe have wonderful 100% cashmere pashmina scarves and wraps. These are hand woven in Nepal. Elegant yet practical, this is a lovely fabric which drapes elegantly, is superbly soft, light-weight yet warm. We also have 70% cashmere pashmina and 30% silk wraps, hand woven in Nepal. Offering excellent value for money, these wraps come in a great range of bright colours. Our selection of 50% cashmere pashmina and 50% silk wraps offers outstanding value-for-money. Available in 14 colours, these wraps are stylish and versatile. Cashmere ScarfOur cashmere scarves are made from cashmere wool and are made in Scotland and England. Some are knitted scarves while others are woven. Cashmere is, of course, superbly soft and warm. Lambswool ScarfSourced from the Scottish Borders and Yorkshire in England our lambswool scarves are light, bright and warm. We have a number of sizes and styles including a great range of over 30 striped scarves. Other WoolsWe also have a wide range of scarves made from other wools, or a mixture of lambswool and angora or cashmere and wool. Most of these scarves are made in England. Linen and Wool WrapWe have just introduced a great linen cotton mix Wrap. This is a black wrap with a large poppy design. Cotton and Silk WrapOur new Jamawar Wraps are hand made in India from 50% Cotton and 50% Silk. Have a look at the 5 different designs. |
