Information about our scarves and wraps

A little explanation...

Here at Scarves and Wraps we only sell products made from natural materials. Mostly cashmere, lambswool, merino wool and silk. Most of our scarves are suitable for women and men which makes choosing one for yourself or as a gift really easy! And many of our scarves, stoles and throws are made in the UK!

Wedding Pashminas and Wedding Wraps 

We have just taken delivery of 50% wool and 50% silk wraps, especially chosen for bridesmaids. These pashmina wraps offer quality natural materials and excellent value-for-money. Available in cream, ivory and silver-grey, you can see these wedding wraps here.

Scarves, Wraps and Throws Gift Ideas

Many of our customers buy a scarf, wrap or throw as a gift. We have a great selection suitable for women and men. We offer free gift wrapping, for special occasions such as birthdays, or in plain, coloured wrapping for general gifts. Our wraps make wonderful Mother's Day gifts as well.

New arrivals - spring and summer scarves and wraps

Our new spring and summer cashmere and wool wraps have arrived. These were hand picked by Eva on a recent visit to Nepal. We're very excited by our new range of 100% superfine cashmere wraps. We also have some great value for money fine merino wool and silk wraps - spotted wraps, dogtooth wraps and plain wraps. 

We have also added five new colours for spring and summer to our ever popular 50% Cashmere and 50% Silk wraps. 

We have a great new range of Lambswool Throws and Cashmere and Lambswool Throws. Stunning quality, woven in the UK and all hand finished, these throws are just superb. The Cashmere and Lambswool throws are exclusive to Scarves and Wraps and offered at a really great price. The 100% Lambswool Throws come in a choice of 11 colours and styles. We have also added two new styles to our popular 100% Cashmere Throws.

Scarves and Wraps for summer

We have a great range of scarves and wraps on offer for summer. We've managed to negotiate some great deals with our suppliers. About 80% of our scarves are made in the UK so you can be assured of quality items at really exceptional prices. We also have a great range of UK made 100% Cashmere Throws offering outstanding value-for-money.

What's the difference between cashmere and pashmina?

The answer is - not a lot! Cashmere is the western name for wool from the capra hircus laniger goat, found in Nepal. Locally, the wool is known as pashm - hence pashmina. But you will see lots of scarves and wraps advertised as pashminas when they're not! Beware.

We have classified our range as Cashmere Pashmina if the products are made in the Kashmir region and Cashmere if made elsewhere. We think that's fair and we hope you agree.

Cashmere Pashmina Scarfs and Cashmere Pashmina Wraps

We have wonderful 100% cashmere pashmina scarves and wraps. These are hand woven in Nepal. Elegant yet practical, this is a lovely fabric which drapes elegantly, is superbly soft, light-weight yet warm.

We also have 70% cashmere pashmina and 30% silk wraps, hand woven in Nepal. Offering excellent value for money, these wraps come in a great range of bright colours.

Our selection of 50% cashmere pashmina and 50% silk wraps offers outstanding value-for-money. Available in 20 colours, these wraps are stylish and versatile. We have just received a new range of colours for the summer collection. 

Lambswool Scarf

Sourced from the Scottish Borders and Yorkshire in England our lambswool scarves are light, bright and warm. We have a number of sizes and styles including a great range of over 30 striped scarves.
